On-board calibration of satellite mw radiometers for remote sensing of the earth (ers) – measuring instruments for land, atmosphere, and ocean parameters.
The material of the radiating element (“black body”) is made of conical single crystal silicon rods. The radiating element includes seven small-sized vibration-resistant platinum resistance thermometers.
