MOSCOW REGION, May 13, 2021 – Specialists of the export center of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (Rosstandart) within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM: Big Industrial Week in Uzbekistan” presented an exposition of metrological equipment manufactured by the State National Metrology Institutes of the Russian Federation, and demonstrated the possibilities of its practical use in real technological processes.
The exposition of standard specimens used in the process of laboratory research and product testing was presented most fully at the Rosstandart stand. Standard specimens created in Russia are among the best in the world both in terms of accuracy of reproducible parameters and in terms of price-quality ratio.
The unique exhibits presented for the first time at the exposition were a standard specimen of the concentration of copies of DNA sequences in a human genomic DNA matrix and a standard specimen of COVID-19.
A set of standard specimens of the concentration of copies of DNA sequences in the matrix of human genomic DNA can be used in forensic laboratories, industrial biotechnology, laboratory medicine, and research work.
The COVID-19 standard specimen will ensure the quality and consistency of diagnostic results using test systems developed and produced in Russia to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Great interest was also aroused by the research institutes’ developments designed to ensure operational quality control of products – a photospectrometric analyzer of synthetic dyes in red wines, juices and other biotechnological media, as well as an optical sulfur indicator in automobile fuel “SAD”, intended for express analysis when taking samples for Gas station.
Visitors to the exhibition, among whom were representatives of government and business from 8 countries (Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, France, Czech Republic and Japan), showed great interest in metrological products made in Russia. The large International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM” in Uzbekistan has become an effective platform for interaction of potential partners.
For three days at the exhibition “INNOPROM: Big Industrial Week in Uzbekistan” was attended by over 10,000 visitors from all countries of Central Asia. More than 1000 companies from the Uzbek side and more than 300 companies from the Russian side took part in the exhibition and business program. The official organizers of the exhibition are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
